Privacy Policy
Effective 25 October 2026 · updated to describe gameplay analytics, crash reports and privacy choices
Marble Lift is a puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Android, made by Procellari. This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and how you can delete it.
Playing without an account
Stages 1 to 15 can be played without signing in. Your progress and settings are then stored only on your device; only the anonymous gameplay events described under "Gameplay analytics" are sent.
Signing in
To play stage 16 and beyond, and the daily stage, you sign in with Apple or Google. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We receive:
- a unique account ID,
- the email address your Apple or Google account shares with us (Apple lets you hide it),
- which service you signed in with.
We never see or store your Apple or Google password.
Your game progress
Once you are signed in, your game progress is saved to your account so it follows you to other devices. This is: the stages you have unlocked and cleared, your stars and best times, diamonds collected and spent, trophies, your daily-stage streak, the marble and ring you use, and your sound, music and vibration settings. It is stored in Google Cloud Firestore in Mumbai, India.
Leaderboards
If you are signed in, your best daily-stage results and overall progress can appear on the daily and all-time leaderboards. Other players see only your game nickname (for example "Blaze99", chosen for you until you pick your own) and your scores, never your name or email address.
How we use information from Google
When you sign in with Google, Marble Lift requests only your basic profile (a unique account ID, email address, name and profile picture). We use only the account ID and email address, to identify your account so your progress can be saved and restored; your name and picture are not shown in the game or on leaderboards. We do not request access to any other Google data, we do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to run sign-in and storage through Google Firebase.
Gameplay analytics
To find out which stages are too hard and where players stop, the game sends anonymous gameplay events to Google Analytics for Firebase: for example that stage 12 was started, dropped or finished, with the stars and time, and when a sign-in prompt, daily gift or optional ad was used. Firebase adds an app-instance identifier and basic device information (model, operating system, country, app version). We never send your name, email address or account ID with these events, and we have told Google not to use this data for advertising or ad personalisation. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and other places whose privacy laws ask for consent first, nothing is sent until you say yes: the game asks once, on the title screen. Wherever you are, you can turn gameplay stats on or off at any time under Privacy choices (the shield button on the title screen).
Crash reports
If the game crashes, Google's Firebase Crashlytics sends us a report so we can fix it: what went wrong in the code, the device model, operating system and app version, and an app-instance identifier. Reports never include your name, email address or game account. They are kept for 90 days.
Advertising
Marble Lift is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: optional short ads you can choose to watch to rescue a dropped marble, skip a stage or double your diamonds, and occasional full-screen ads between stages. To show and measure ads, Google's advertising SDK collects information from your device, such as its advertising identifier (if you allow it), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google uses this as described in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- On iPhone and iPad, ads are personalised only if you tap "Allow" when Marble Lift asks to track. You can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before any personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later under Privacy choices on the title screen.
What we don't do
- No tracking across other apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of analytics data with advertisers.
- We never sell your information. Apart from advertising as described above, Google processes it only to provide sign-in, storage, analytics and crash reports for the game.
Deleting your data
In the game, open the account panel (the person icon on the title screen) and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and the progress saved to it. You can also ask us by email. Progress stored on your device stays there until you delete the app.
Children
Marble Lift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
